Well we got some new clippers. They work much better. 

Maybe next time we will use a longer guard.....took off more than i wanted. It took a fraction of the time and quieter than the other clippers.

No trauma  and crying this time.......Wahls clippers rock!

M and A were at a friends birthday party today!

Staci...the mom...is super talented and painted the kids faces.

I have never seen M or especially A sit that still for something for that long. I need to go and buy face paints for some quiet time. I am sure they won't care that i have no artistic talent in the face painting catagory!

30 seconds....at the most!!

Its been a while since i posted any of Aidens ....ummm....antics!

Well here he is with crushed crackers mixed with water, poured into a bowl and then over his head!

Seriously.....i turned my head for 30 seconds....sigh!

Could be worse.

Mothers day consisted of us doing yard work . It was so nice outside. We were all outside most of the day. Both mom and dads came for supper . Aiden was a little tired from playing out side all day.....so tired he fell asleep before supper watching TV ,as he was waiting for his turn for a bath.


As i mentioned before dad bought the kids a quad! They love it and want to ride it all the time. Ken has fixed it so it will not go very fast....yet! They are still learning to stear it.

Mya has caught on very quickly. Aiden is still easily distracted and forgets to look where he is going. That will come.

Mya and Aidens...2nd day at daycare! Wed was their first day. I was working early so Ken took them on his way to work. As soon as they got there both kids ran to play and said "see ya dad"

I worked till 4 then went to pick them up from daycare. I saw them out in the yard playing. As soon as they saw me they said "NO HOME"!!!  I am glad they had a good time but geesh!

It took a 1/2 hour more of convincing and they finally came with me.  In any other situation i probably would have just picked them up and hauled them crying to the van, but i had an audience!!lol

They love the backpacks. They love all the activities and kids that they get to play with. They come home very tired...

Wed and Thurs each week they will be going! 

Yesterday , i was at work. This am M and A were excited to give me my mothers days gifts that they made me at Daycare.

They made hand prints in clay and decorated them. they had the gifts all wrapped up in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon. They had made cards  too!

My first  homemade mothers day gifts!!

M and A were very excited to use their suitcases.

Look what we found!!! A Quad!!

Its still a little to big for them and needs the speed control to be fixed but they had fun playing on it. Mom, grandma and papa can even ride it.  They loved going for rides. Aiden was scared of the noise it made at first but did not take long and he didn't want to get off of it. Now to find helmets!

How can you spend a nice warm day at the lake with out watermelon on the deck!!

They must of had a good time. They played hard, spent lots of time outside getting dirty. 

Wish i could have snoozed on the way home too!! Someone had to drive i guess!
