Ken thought i lost my mind buying fingerpaints!  hahaha.

Mya was so excited she wouldn't eat lunch! First we found some painting shirts and then got  the kitchen table ready. Aiden was not too excited at first but didn't take long. Check out the masterpieces!!

Hilarious....that looks better. I spelled it wrong in my last post.

I have never been very good at spelling or grammer or is it grammar or gramer or...???

See....i can't spell.  definately no homeschooling for my kids!

Does it prevent me from life??? No i don't think so. If  i am doing anything important i would spell check..really i would!

I think the reason that doctors hand writing is so bad is just because they can't spell....so i guess i just need to be a messy writer....soooo how do you TYPE messy!??

kids are hallarious

M and A are speaking more and more all the time. Mya especially. She is now saying 2 or more sentences at a time. So now i need to watch what i say more.....

Today she said to me...." Just a minute sweetie...Ok?" hahaha

Aiden did something she obviously didn't like and she threw her head back and said with a deep sigh..." i can't believe it" with  her hand on her head! I said...so mya what should we do with aiden....she said...."i think we should tickle him"

Now wouldn't that be great if all issues could be solved with tickles!!!

Wouldn't the world be a better place? :)

I also caught M and A talking today. they were sitting in the living room like 2 adults, having a chat. Mya was saying...do you want to go to haiti? Aiden said no not right now.

Mya said..."we born there" "there are lots of people in haiti" "it is a long ways away" "Now we are home"

I am not sure if i mentioned the snowman here lately....Aiden has not been sleeping in his bed all night. He wakes at about 3 or 330 and comes into our room. We have found out that he is scared of the snowman. He says...."snowman comes". I have tried and tried to convince him there are no snowmen in the house or outside. We lock the doors and no one can get in. I asked him today what does the snow man do when he comes in. He said that the snowman wakes him up! 

I asked him if the snowman is a girl or a boy....he said a girl, she wears a party dress....hmmm read into that one as you wish!

Tonight we were playing with the computers photo booth....will post a few silly pics!

Nice Weather

Nice weather, nice day. It is good to get outside more now. 

Today the kids and I spent the day out in the yard. We ..no wait....I cleaned out the flower beds, pruned things and raked leaves. Aiden did help for a while but got very bored of that quickly. I asked mya if she could help and she said..."ummm NO" in a voice which meant that this kind of work is beneath me!!!  hahaha.

She did enjoy the wheelbarrow rides however!

Then it was lunch time. It was so nice and warm out i decided we should have lunch outside. Oh the excitement!!

Oh i forgot to mention. M and A each have little plastic rakes so i thought they would have fun raking leaves with me. Well aiden decided he would rather golf. While i was not looking he broke off the ends of the rake and was swinging at a rock like a golf club! Oh boy...i see the bills already.

After lunch we got cleaned up and went to walmart for a couple of things. Kids even behaved, must have been from all the fresh air.

Then we picked up coffee and icecream and went to the house ken is building for his afternoon coffee break.

All in all a great day....hope tomorrow is warm too! 

Now to tackle the back yard!

easter

Mom and Dad bought the kids some nice easter clothes so on Saturday we were headed out to kens mom and dads farm for the afternoon and supper. While Aiden napped i got Mya dressed and ready to go. here are a few pictures of her in her..."party dress" as she calls it!

When aiden woke...he was whiny, and it was an effort just to get him ready so....no pics of him in his vest and tie unfortunatly.

We have now created a monster with all the chocolate over the weekend. It is not aiden friend...thats for sure. Mya copes better with her sugar highs!

We hid some gifts and chocolate eggs saturday night. Sunday am Aiden walks into our room with an egg in his hand and says....mommy!!! whats this?

It was early and mya was not awake yet....i tried to get him to crawl in bed with us but no way....he wanted to search for more goodies.

I told him he had to wait for mya to get up so.....away he ran and jumped on her bed!

It did not take mya long to get up once she remembered it was easter am. 

M and A then took their baskets and went on the hunt. Totally our own fault for all the chocolate.

Sunday consisted of several meltdowns from all the sugar.

So for the last couple of days Aiden has been begging and whining for "treats" or " more chocolate". He has never been a sweet lover....besided apple pie....so we now have created a monster.

I have been strong today.....no chocolate! Aiden has had a couple of Timeouts already and it is only 9am.

His favorite toy....a car....has now been put away  and not to be used today!

Aiden has been very clingy these last few days too....does not want to get off my lap, wants to be carried etc. Almost as much as when he first came home.....no not that much but more than usual. Not sure what that is all about!  I hope it is not because i have been going to work now. Daycare is in their future for next month....worrying about that setting for them but we will try and see how they cope! We have visited there a couple of times and they seem to like it so far. I am impressed at how well it is run! I hope it is going to be good for them. 

ok......daycare was a side bar from easter i guess....

I will also post a picture of Mya in her Belly dancer outfit. Mom and Dad just arrived back from their cruise . They visited Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain.....ummmm....i think that was all...anyway. Myas purple outfit was from their trip.

I think when in haiti i promised to post pictures of our stay when i got home....well i am a little late but better late then never they say! This first picture is of the Wharf Jeremie area. We volunteered at a pediatric clinic there with father Tony. The second picture is at Holy Angels Hospice. This was my favoite little man. His name is Emerson. He lived and helped out at the Hospice.

where is aiden?

So ...the weather has been really nice and the snow is almost gone....again!!

We still have losts of mud in our yard and the kids have been out enjoying getting dirty.

They have been good about staying out of the mud .....until i went inside....then this is what happened.

So where did aiden go....it seems he has forgotten his shoes!!
